I will try to download at work but I am going to say I will likely not be playing PoE tomorrow night. If I start the download soon as possible it may be done before 5. I have throttle the download so the bosses remote connection is not slowed too much. ;)

Take off the throttle and call it a slow internet day

set up a process that fires it off in the afternoon while you're at work so it's ready to go when you get home. POE doesn't require a log in to update I don't think so it should work

Good idea.
Set the windows task scheduler to fire the PoE client at about 2:30 and it should automatically start up and start patching.
3.5 hours at 1 Mbps and you have about 5hours to work with!
Nice one Dizz
I set mine up as well, just for kicks.

Fyi for Spid since mumble (or pain) was potentially causing you trouble last play session.
Disable overlay:
Step 1: In Mumble, open the 'Configure > Settings' menu.
Step 2: Click on the 'Overlay' submenu.
Step 3: Un-check the box next to 'Enable Overlay'.
Step 4: Click 'OK'.
step 5: Restart Mumble client.

I did that last week but the overlay stayed around then eventually after one crash disappeared. Should hopefully be completely gone now.

it did seem like it got better after the overlay was gone.

Pretty sure it was the overlay and not Pain causing my issues. But he is not off the hook yet.

16mbps here at work. 1.5mbps at home. If you are slumming Ash I would hate to imagine what I am doing.

LOL
I guess it depends on location. Here is small town Ontario 5mbps I would say is the norm. As many that have cable and are getting over 5mbps there are just as many on wireless or satellite getting less than 5mbps. Big City folk obviously getting a lot better due to being in the big city.
And honestly for websurfing my 1.5mbps works great. It is really only downloading stuff that generally sucks. Gaming seems to be hit and miss. Sometimes they run great but other times not so much but that I attribute more to two of us sharing the connection.

Yeah, I know how it is out there. I haven't forgotten my roots!
Keep calling all the providers though and beg for more speed and wired service
