POE wipe and OB info

So great stuff looks like we will have 5 for the Static group .. should be crazy Defender fun , as difficulty,# of Mobs and Loot ramp up expotentially ...

So i realize it is 3 weeks off but in that time lets try to set up a good day and time for the static...

And keep in mind you get 4 char slots so you can play the other 3 at leisure and farm gear , or enter the hardcore ladders .. mapping etc ...

If your lady liked Diablo, she may enjoy this as well.

And perfect example .. was waiting for a delivery so in killing 10 minutes i port to Fetid Waste , just wanderin and killin and get a sweet 1 handed rare mace , that fits my Templar build dam near perfect .. Should be good for several lvls..

Yea anyone who is/was a fan of Diablo 1 or 2 will feel right at home in POE...It brings all the good stuff from those games and MUCH MUCH more...

Created a Marauder named Spidubic. Melee with a big sword! Thoughts on group choice? Maybe a quick post on who is playing what for the group.

Im going to go with the Templar with Ice damage and Totems .. or the Ranger with Poison ,Lightning and Multiple Projectiles..

Cant decide but i am enjoying the Templar , leaning towards that

Made a Dualist, Darkstryder. Spidubic the Marauder seems built to take hits whereas the Dualist is more about dodging. Similar enough to be able to swap around but different enough to be fun.

Decided to make a Templar as well. Punak. Might as well dabble in some classes to see what I like if they are wiping come the 23rd. Marauder or Duelist will most likely be my static group dude.

Initial impressions:
Only played for a few minutes on each of my three characters. So far it is fun. View takes a bit of getting use to. Would like to be able to zoom out a bit more. Passive skill tree looks awesome. So many options. Do I go more health or more armor. Perhaps strength. Have to look down the path to see what options each choice leads to. I also like the idea of the gems leveling with you. Cool to find a gem that you like and be able to have it grow with you.

I like the Marauder and so far the Templar. Not so keen on the Duelist. Pretty sure Marauder will be my group guy. Undecided if a second Marauder or Templar will be my soloist.

If I understand right gear and gems can be swapped between characters with no issue?

Yes .. you have a 4 tab Shared Stash for all characters ..

so i have always a kept

tab 1
All Currencies , Armour Scraps , Whetsone , Recall , Portals ,.. Etc.... also all Healing and Mana vials and Jewelry

Tab2 Strength/ Dex Gear

Tab3 Int/ Caster gear

Tab 4 all dropped and quest earned Skill Gems ...
