Since Dizzarian's original site is gone I decided to redo my builds thread here but this time it will include all four classes.
Amokk - 50 Warrior
Spidubic - 35 Rogue
Lifespid - 31 Cleric
Spidfire - 44 Mage

Will update posts as I level each one and change specs.

Took a break from my Mage last night and got my Cleric to 25 then when turning in a collection I received an awesome level 25 purple bow which I sent to my level 24 Rogue who I then ended up playing to get to 25. Great night. For my alts I am using the four general purpose roles provided by Rift just to keep things simpler. And they actually work quite well. I have my full on damage role, more AoE centric role, a hard quest survivability role, and another usually DPS role.

Cleric lives up to everything anyone has talked about. SO many options. They can lay down DPS from range or melee as well as sit and take a beating. My roles allow sitting back and plinking mobs from range or if they are closer together I swap to range/melee and smack them up close. My fourth role which is not a Rift role is Shieldman which makes my Cleric pretty much invulnerable. This is used for really tough fights.

Mage is a blast to play although he is starting to show the lack of protection cloth provides. At least my pets help keep mobs off of me. One build is pure DPS no survivability. One has a pet to help with survivability. And one uses Cloro to max survivability. So far quite fun but I can see a point I may stop playing due to dying too much. What I am really looking forward to and the reason I am leveling the Mage as much as I can is the Harbinger soul. Melee Mage with summon able weapons. Very cool!

Rogue. I have not played my Rogue for a long time mainly due to being in an area of Gloamwood that was causing him no end of grief. I redid my souls last night and made it to 25. Will likely play him more at least to get him to the next area. His damage varies greatly. I can drop one mob fast then have another hang around. Still relearning him. I do love picking mobs off with my bow. And of course stealth is awesome to get through some areas I fear my Mage will be fighting hard in.

That is my quick recap of the latest goings on with Amokk in Rift.

Been pushing my Rogue to hit 30 so I can start leveling my lower guys and not been doing the same content all the time. I have to say stealth is going to be hard to follow. Rogues can sneak past what they don't want to fight and there have been a couple of areas I think my Cleric and Mage especially are going to find slow going. Cleric I know can beat their way through but I am still not adjusted to Mage and cloth armor so that may be interesting.

Rogue ranged is kicka$$. And having stealth as an option is icing. Feeling more comfortable playing him. Have not tried my Bard role yet and need a lot more time with my Sab. I know I am not playing him right.

Cleric is still the most versatile of all the classes. You name it they can do it. I am ranging most stuff unless the area is tight then I will swap to melee. Clerics are tough!

Mage. Loving the boom! But looking forward to the Harbinger soul. Hoping to hit 30 with the Mage before expansion release.

Mage is now 23. Picked up Feign Death on my one build which should come in handy. Really loving the pet on my Mage. Helps a 'smack em in da face' melee guy live while wearing a dress. Still not really use to getting out of trouble though. On my Warrior I just kept smacking the mobs till dead and hoped my armor help up. As a Mage I need to get them off as the cloth don't help much.

If you have an alt and want to get some levels on them jump into Instant Adventures. I put nearly 8 levels on my Mage who now sits at level 31. Not sure how far I want to level her. Trying to figure out what a good level is where I can have enough points to put into souls to be viable but still have some leveling left to actually play with the character. I now have a 50, two 31s, and a 30. Thinking I might just push the Mage a few levels more just to get some spread.

Got a chance to get into the Beta for a quick look around. Got some cool things happening. Cannot wait to play my Warrior and Mage with the new souls. All sorts of cool builds to play around with. Going to be like starting over from scratch.

After some debating I have decided to push my Mage to 40. With the level cap raising to 60 I can swap around between characters and be able to level all. I will have a 50, 40, and two 30, so I they will all be playing in different areas. I can just move around to whomever I feel like playing.

Hey, I can commit. Unfortunately the rest of the people in my life aren't so willing to consistently let me commit Happy

Souls are rebuilt. Rift now offers six pre-made builds which are based on player builds. I just picked them for now rather than figure everything out from scratch. Amokk and Spidfire each have 6 roles while Spidubic and Lifespid have four. Figure Warrior and Mage are the two I will level with the others as standby. So many things to try........

Finally got Spidfire my Mage to 40. Going to work on my Rogue a bit, get his harvesting skills up, maybe get a couple more levels, to 35 perhaps. After that I might see how much further I can get my Mage before the expansion. Somewhere in there I also need to make some plat.

Figured it was time to update builds. Each of my characters now has a build that incorporates one of the new souls. Have not played Cleric or Rogue yet so no comment on them.

Warrior:
Gear makes the Warrior. Hitting SL in my Warrior was a rude wake up. I had expected my gear to lack and that was proven to me immediately. A lack of Dungeon gear showed on the first mob. I ended up spending plat to upgrade gear as well as time in Shimmer Sands and Stillmoor learning the new builds as well as finding a good soloing build. Once done I could manage to survive SL fights and as I completed quests and gained more better gear my Warrior started doing much better. Most builds work fine now but the Shock Trooper Tempest ranged build is best left for grouping. Lots of range but no real way to keep the mob off of me.

Mage:
Harbinger has made the Mage a blast to play. She freaking eats mobs for breakfast. The DPS of a Mage combined with the Survivability of a Warrior. Awesome!
