I burned on Minecraft pretty qwikly , i can only smash and place so many cubes ..
http://www.wurmonline.com/ Is a much better and realistic option imo ...
Also in alpha stage keep an eye on . http://ballikin.com/ very interesting approach....
there is another minecraft/like game that looked interesting i will find it later..
ok found it... in Development but again looks to take the Minecraft formula another step...

I actually have wurmonline downloaded but have not had a chance to play it yet. As for Minecraft I have not been able to log into the server for weeks.

The host was having some trouble for a while with new versions of the server being unstable. I'm not really too happy with them so I'm cancelling my account with them. I have a world backup that I'll put up sometime soon that you should be able to load up locally.
The server didn't have enough interest to continue paying for anyhow.

Awesome! Would love to be able to continue messing around with that world.
Minecraft is definitely a game that is best suited to playing around with on occasion rather than a steady chuck of time.

Cool but that was of the previous world that we were on before we restarted on the world with random villages and mines.
