re: Rift - game over

So it looks like Wall of Souls divided again - and i got left in the dust...
the current guild leader empreza, moved the guild to another website and kicked a bunch of people out - the group i was used to, kapp, giz, etc, all have moved on to a different server (and most are waiting for tor)
when i logged in today, as i wanted to see what changed with the 1.6 update, i saw i was no longer in a guild.
I Pm'ed empreza, and was accused of calling her and the guild "losers". Not only had i not logged into the game for two weeks, i never posted to the WoS web site!
so with no guild, and frankly my intrest with rift was minimal anyways, im going to cancel my sub and move on...
if i had know i was going to be be accused as an asshole - i would have lived up to it!
EDIT - so it turns out one of the WoS crew posted as other members and told off empreza - so my char did tell her off, though i didnt do it -
im signed up for TOR now....it was time to move on from rift anyways...

I noticed when I logged in here at Guild Launch that I had a messge from the WoS forum that I was no longer a member. Guess if I ever get back in Rift I will also find myself guildless. I would say Rift was the MMO we played with the most guild issues ever.
As for TOR I just can't get into looking forward to it. I am on the fence. I think I may wait out the launch and see what people say first before playing. But then if I do that is there going to be much point in playing as everyone will have moved on? TOR is sounding a lot like Rift as far as hype and that worries me in that it will just end up being yet another game I play for a month or two and get bored and leave.
I am actually wondering if I am over MMOs. Even Fallen Earth has sat un-played for a week or so.
