Was planning on picking it up after work Friday, but the game store (Microplay) called me Thursday afternoon and said they were having a midnight release.
Couldn't sleep knowing it was there waiting Happy
Waited in line with about 30 other Skyrim nerds at 11:45 and picked up my copy but 12:10.
2am now...fun start. Happy Better sleep though as I have to wake up for work in about 3 hours. *yawn*
Intro area/scene was cool.
Sweet...

Tried to use a sword...meh. Dropped it.

Going to mainly focus on destruction spells (obvious if you know me)
Secondary is conjuration so I can raise undead armies from the corpses littering the ground in my wake.
A touch of archery for good measure. Comes in handy for softening long range targets and triggering things from afar.
And I'm picking every lock I see.

All I've done for crafting is to upgrade a sword just to see how it worked. Dropped it.

God I can't wait to play, I have it downloaded but no time to play yet. I worked 20 hours yesterday got 3 hrs of sleep and back to work now. Hoping after I get some sleep in this afternoon I can start to hit heavy this weekend if work doesn't wreak my plans (crosses fingers)

I'm very conflicted. I don't know if I should go after the quest line or just randomly wander the world...

I focus on the Ash faction. I pursue anything that seems to directly relate to an increase in my own personal power. Happy
I don't like to choose sides, I like to do whatever benefits me the most personally at the time the choice is given no comment

So what is everyone playing it on? I know Ash is 360. Dizz? Rico I am thinking PC? If you are playing it on the PC how is the controls? Keyboard and mouse work okay or is it 360 controller?

I'm with rico, this is easily the best game I have played in the last 5 years. I'm totally in awe of it. I'm not one who likes to pay 60 bucks for a game, I think it's a ridiculous price BUT whatever Bethesda want's to charge for this game I'll gladly play it. it's worth every penny even if it was double the price.

I'm on pc, the mods are coming.. they are coming..
and this once infinite game will become infinte^2

oh the controls get to you at the first but with in 30 minutes they flow very smooth and natural no worries there. In fact I have a control and played and hour or so on it and now I'm back to the keyboard and mouse because I like the control they give better.

Good to hear it can be played with the keyboard and mouse. that may have been the deciding factor for me. Happy
