It's not much to look at...

But it keeps us safe at night...

We even classed the joint up a bit.

Downloading now.

UPDATE:

Never log into this type of game at work unless you don't care if you die. Joined the server and spawned next to a car with a zombie about 20 feet away. Car had an axe which made me smile as the zombie started shambling towards me. Customer comes in.............

Needless to say I was dead by the time I got back, axe gone. Has to be some kind of record for speed of death.

There are some survival tips I could give you now.

But some of them need to be experienced.

So get some death under your belt :)

I think they need to rename it 7 seconds to die. I am learning that my chances in a real zombie apocalypse could be slim to none. After a dozen or so deaths I finally respawned in an area close to a building. Which provided no help at all. The zombies for whatever reason during the day broke the door down and killed me. I have tried staying off the roads as it seems if I stay on them I attract zombies. But then again in the woods I attracted zombie dogs. Is there a way to see the number of deaths? I am sure I have died 50 times so far and really gotten nowhere fast. Finally gave up and went back to farming.

Punch grass - Get grass - Make grass into plant fibres in crafting window (i)

Punch bush - get stick

Pick up small stone - make sharp stone in crafting window.

Combine these three things to make an axe.  Your first multitool.

--------

When you crouch you can see if the zombies have detected you.

Stay in this mode at night and stay well out of sight.  They can see through windows and hear/smell you.

If you are sensed or hunted they will try to track you down.

I found crouching pretty early on and that is pretty much how I move around. Does not help to walk around with a salami sandwich in your tool belt. Learned that the hard way.
