A place for questions.
I have noticed when going to the Terraces the map will be one direction with one character and another direction with another. Is there a reason why or a way to stop that?

As designed. Part of the map randomization routines I believe.

the zones are supposed to be randomized, for re-playability sake.

After you get 60 there are completely Random maps that drop as loot with every parameter that occurs on gear or Skills..
ex...
Lvl 65 map 20% chance of quality drops
Fire Damage 20% increase.. from mobs ..
or Healing 15% less effective ...
And you can also try to tweak the maps with currency .. really amazing well thot out system of replay value

Random maps are cool. It just bugs me that when a character leaves town the door may be facing south or it may be facing east. The door to town should not change directions. I should always come out facing the same way. So far that is my only issue. Well that and a brain overload when I look at the passive tree.

The door doesn't change, just your perspective.
It had me confused for a while, but I got used to it.
My thing is that when I come to a waypoint in the middle of a map I never know which way to run
But a couple times I've gon the wrong way I've ended up with some new gear so it's all good.

I don't want my perspective to change. Guess I will get use to it. Still don't like it.

In looking at gems for my guys I have been sticking to the same type of gems. Like on my Templar all cold based. Which I figure works together and allows passives to make all gems stronger. But am I being too focused? What if I meet stuff that is resistant to cold? Is it better to mix and match? Fire/Ice, Ice/Lightning?

I'm trying to keep at least one off element equipped at any given time. Banking on my crit to make up for the lack of investment in the off elements.
