Not sure where to post hints or things discovered so I am posting it here. In the character sheet is a Gear Manager. You can save sets and swap between them. So if you have a Shotgun/Hammer build and want to switch to Blood/Rifle you can swap out skills, passives, and gear with ease.

In the Inventory screen [i], you can click the + button to make a new bag. Put your consumables in here, and then click the padlock button into the "locked" position. Now, when you close your inventory, the new bag will stay on your screen, allowing easy access to your consumables.

Build mechanics and resource thread:
http://forums.thesecretworld.com/showthread.php?t=31494
Been reading this and thinking I am going to stick with Shotgun and Hammer and fill them out for now. I did put several points into Rifle but don't care for it at the moment so I feel I have wasted the points at least at this time. When I find other weapons I might dabble more but will wait till then.

Nice. I crafted a decent Q3 Elemental Focus last night. Just slightly less powerful than the blue vendor weapon, but I threw on a blue glyph that dropped and it's pretty wicked now.

http://tswsearch.com
Quote: | TSW Search represents a community attempt to patch a problem with The Secret World’s investigation missions and ARGs. These represent one of the more compelling and unique aspects of the MMORPG, in which players have to hunt for information outside of the game. Unfortunately, it is likely that Google results for likely terms will become polluted with hits which give away the answers, i.e. hits which are discussing the game event rather than the topic the event involves. Google ranks these results highly because such spoilers are likely to show as fresh hits, and they may also be good matches against otherwise unlikely combinations of keywords. TSW Search modifies the Google-ranked results by filtering out results which are likely to be spoilers. |

Great site! Full of info. Been reading through it and found this quote in the build FAQ:
"You don't have a mix of physical and magical damage, but this isn't a significant issue until you reach the point where the game design challenges you to diversify, so you can worry about magic damage at that time."
It does look like at some point you will need to spread out into other weapons as I assume mobs in dungeons will start being strong against some and weak against others. Of course I am now wondering if I might just grind out more AP and SP in Kingsmouth and fill in some more weapon choices. I know I won't need them now but they would be cool to dabble with.

Remember though that as you move to the tougher areas the AP will come faster so it will be easier to backfill those build spots.
Rico and I ran out and did a quest on Priest Island in Kingsmouth (Or whatever it's called) and I think we came out with 28 points after an hour or so.
Plus it was fun and crazy.

Looking at the SP amounts for second row skills I imagine it would have to ramp up. 28 points in an hour! I barely have 40 total. Guess I am taking it slow and easy. LOL
