You mentioned in another post you work in a computer store, so you no doubt know quite a bit about Vista.

Perhaps for the Noobs like me you could explain why you think its the bane of computers?

Vista well were to begin hmmm...its a Microsoft product !

No really I have had soo many computers come into the shop to be repaired because Customers have tried installing Vista on their machine, most of the time it is because they are using basic single core systems where as Vistas Minimum spec should be increased to avoid this.

The only thing I like about it is the visual effects but thats it, alot of the drivers and game updates do not work with it...

At the moment its also very expensive as is want with Microsoft and new products, I am sure in time the price will drop and they will sort out the various bugs and issues but until then I think I shall stick with XP and continue recommending that to our Customers...
