re: 70 Druid

1: Your character's name/level/class. Capinz / 70 / Druid

2: Your real-life first name, age, and sex. Eric, 16, Male. (If you think 16 is to young, I would really like you to ask some former guildies of mine to see how mature I am. I can give you names, or ask almost anyone in the previous guilds.)

3: Your normal playing schedule (be specific, we raid 5ST - whenever we're done), and what time zone you are located in (PST, EST, etc). EST time zone (2 hrs faster than server time). I am normaly on from 10AM to 11PM my time on Saturday and Sunday. Monday 7PM - 11PM. Tuesday afternoon from 2:30 to 4 then from 9 to 11. Wednesday from 8:30 to 11. Thursday from 2:30 to 4, then from 7 to 11. Friday from 4 to 11. I may stay on a little bit past 11 if neccesary like 11:30 or midnight. These may not be the exact times, I do have tennis practice to go to and Tae Kwon Do, I tried to put the times in accordingly to thoes two activities, but they do get mixed up here and there, some days I may be on longer, some shorter.

4: Do you have Ventrilo and a mic? Yes.

5: Your previous WoW experience? (On this server, and/or your previous server) I have a lvl 70 warlock on another server, an older server which has more experience, I've raided MC, BWL, and AQ20.
6: Your previous guilds? And reasons for leaving the guild(s) you were in. Yellow Discipline - Guild leader left, he wasn't up to raiding and there was much drama so he along with the very few other lvl 70's in the guild also left, I logged on one morning, saw that everyone that was on in the guild was under lvl 60 so I left as well. As of this moment I'm in Genoxide. If I'm accepted here I am going to leave them because I am mainly in the guild because of a friend, and he is most likely not going to allow his account to continute, and they don't raid very often which is what I am looking forward to doing.

7: Friends with any members? Any sponsors? Nope.

8. What are your available professions? Leather Working - 351, Tailoring - 350 (mooncloth specialty for 20 slot bags later on)

9. What is your current spec? (ex: Prot, Resto, Holy, Ret[]) Would you be willing to respec if it would benefit the guild? 43 feral, I think, and 18 (definitly) Resto. I will respec if neccisary, but I really enjoy doing more dps in cat form than most of the mages and warlocks in my pugs.

10. Are you attuned for Karazhan? Yes.

11. Please list what factions you are revered with for heroics. (Tuesday, not on atm, I'll update this when matnence is done.) Revered with the place in Telar, and Cenerion Expodition, and almost Scryers. (looking at other questions about the Armory, you can see my rep in there as it goes up.)

12. Would you be willing to sit out for members that have been in the guild longer than you have? No complaints? Do you understand that being a new member will not guarantee a raid spot? Obviously, I would expect nothing less.

13. Do you understand you will not recieve loot until you've shown up to a significant amount of raids or have contributed enough to the guild? No emo loot whores allowed. Again, I expect this.

14. What kind of gear do you have? Must have nice 65+ blues from the new instances. Must provide a link to your armory here. http://armory.worldofwarcraft.com/?#character-sheet.xml?r=Lethon&n=Capinz

15. If you could describe yourself in 3 individual words, what would they be? Ace, Deluxe, Obediant.

16. Are you able to farm your own consumables and for the guild? You must bring your own pots, a significant amount. Of course, I enjoy farming with nothing else to do considering all my quests are 5 man group quests or dungeons or raids.

17. Are you willing to wipe multiple times on bosses and not complain about a repair bill? We want members who care about progression to the fullest and are willing to spend hours learning a fight. I once wiped 20 times (no joke) in Shadow Labs. Never complained, I can hold my own on the repair bill.

19. Tell us why you'd like to join and what you can offer to Atrocity. I'd like to join Atrocity because there seems to be not many raiding guilds (or good ones at that) on this server, and this guild seems to be in the top 3. I can contribute my supreme dps abilities, or respect to show off my outstanding healing abilities.

Note my gear has all crit chance and agility to it. I purposfully did that because I like crit chance, when I go into cat form with MoTW I have a 33% chance to crit which I am pretty sure is higher than a lot of peoples. I do have gear with stam on it for tanking, and of course healing gear like all other hybrids. I know in my current gear, I only have 6500 health, but if I get enchants insead of armor kits, my gear would be better.

Hey there, capinz.

Few problems I see with your app:

1. Your play schedule is very dependant on you being east coast, as we are a primarily a PST guild, with raids starting 5 PM Sever Time (which is 3 hours behind btw) that limits your raid time to 3-4 hours at most, and we hoenstly usually start at 530-6, which only cuts down your ability to raid with us. Since we clear and do a few "dry" attempts at bosses before using consumables and flasks, we don't want to be in position to call raids due to people logging off for their bedtime.

2. While you just got Revered with CE (which is great!), in order to get attuned for the Tempest Keep you need Sha'tar, Lower City and Honor Hold to revered as well, and it doesn't look like you are anywhere close.

3. Your gear...isn't the best. Feral druids are great offtanks and awesome DPS, but you will end up tanking at some point, and the tanking stats is what we are most interested in. Regardless, it doesn't seem to me that you invested enough time (yet) to get all your 5 man gear and required rep for end-game raiding, so before applying and starting to raid, i suggest you work on getting best dps/tank sets out of 5 mans and PVP. You can look up Nameci and Myrlik for inspiration as far as that goes.

If you can raid later (2-3 hours later), get your rep and gear taken care of, feel free to bump this.

That is 8:30 - 9 my time, I usualy am on from then for another 2 - 3 hours. Most raids I've been in are not much longer than that. But if yours are thats fine. Understood.

I am Honored with all of thoes. A couple runs in the instances and I'll be Revered. I would say that is pretty darn close, but if you feel it isn't, than that is fine, and raiding Grul doesn't seem to be as daily as Kara, so I thought it wouldn't be as big a deal, but that is also fine. Understood.

I've worked plenty hard for this gear, I've done nearly every quest in every area of the Outlands and I feel that it can't get much better for Feral DPS. I only wear a couple greens in which I still feel are better than most blues for what I'm looking for. My Tanking gear you do not see, along with my healing gear you do not know of. If you have a feral druid you'd like me to take a look at and compare with, I'd love to. But there isn't really any instance gear like Moonglade for a feral druid.

If you would like me to run an instance with some of the people in your guild, I'd love to. That way you can get a better understanding of me other than just by looking at what I have for gear and rep. You would be able to see my play style.

I will take some of your advice, I'll get my rep up and then come back and see if my real life times have changed any.

Thanks.

Our recruiting is very strict because we have been held back by lazy people in the past, and while your app shows effort, it isn't up to our standards. On top of it, arguing with me over the views and recruiting standards we have doesn't look like you would be a great fit for our guild. Consider this case closed.
