what is the best class

this is a very difficult question to answer !!!

but let me say it this way,,

what do you like in your class ?
what do you miss also ?


I will start ..
for me, maybe the druid is the best, you can use both spells & mele attack
YOU CAN STEALTH, which I miss now in my paladin
( I cant tell you how many quests I did by "stealthing" ) - ist right in english ?
you can run fast & swim fast with you driud
you can detect "humaniod" - or what ever they called in the game
and driuds have very good buff, that increases all the stats & resistance
u can just run around in SW or IF, buffing evey 1 u see, & they will buff u back, then go quest
you can tank, you can heal, you can "hit & run"
& what is very cool, you can attack any hord from behind ( stealth first )
& make soo much damge, & u will get better rank fast.
& if you spend your telnts points carefully, u will be ... ( some thing more than you can imagine )

u can be a warroir, a Rogue, a prist & sort of spell casting.

setill there r some weaknesses, u cant root inside caves, most of dungeons & buildings , also u cant fight more than 3 mobs @ the same time ( your level or higher ofc ), u cant mass every enemy around u.


BUT...

I saw a level 40 paladin fighting 8 ( yes 8 ) level 28 elites @THE SAME TIME
he was helping me , & did well , thanx
and, in the same day, out side of Stormwind, & after killing some stupds hords, 3 level 60 ( before BC ), just challenging eachothers, Paladin, Mage & Rogue.

I just stood & start watching, NO 1 defeated the paladin

soo, what I can say about the paladins, PALADINS DONT DIE !!!!!!

the paladin can fight well, you can solo any quest with you paladin, & when you lose ur helth, use ur shield spell ( I dont remember the name now ), "bandage" ur self then fight again.
if u wanna help some low level boost in a dungon, use a pala

BUT

what I relly dont like about them,, THEY CANT PULL !!!!!!
they cant stealth, they cant use 2 weapons ( 1 in each hand )

Just one point pointer....druids can do EVERYTHING!!! just not very well.

I made 3 more charcters, hunter, priest & rouge.

with rouge u can level up fast, but with prist, it takes forever, even @ low levels.

hunter is good, u can track every thing, & after level 40, when u use mail, & with 2 weapons ( 1 in each hand ) u become very good fighter !!

Hey there guys I obviously like being a hunter I think its great fun, you can do a multitude of tasks which other people would strugle with with in pve, making them very good at this, in my opinion they come to life in dungeons and pvp, depending on the spec of the hunter that is. In both cases they can do massive amounts of damage in a short period of time and are able yo hold targets for up to 24 seconds and then retrape, this is great for dungeons to.

I must say that druids are a good class now days. With the new talentbuild they can tank almost better then a warrior can in raids. =) Så now days we can look for a druid or a warrior to tank.

Personally i like druids for tanking...I know most warroirs are good at tanking but to be honest how many noobs get to 70 with a druid and even consider tanking....My answer NONE!! meaning the group is safer.

I still gotta love the paladin and the mage...to extreme class's one in damage the other in armour and defence.

Of course I love the paladin for the simple reasons stated above, they are rock hard! They can take on any foe for ages and come out of a fight with barely a scratch :wink:

But the thing I miss most is...ranged attacks I hate facing mages and hunters who whittle down my health and freeze me before I can get to them which is horrible

Devine shieldy thingy.....ok its got a 5min CD but look on the bright side...u can stun them while you head, you can then after that put the other shield on you and fembrance has worn off and you can heal again. and then stun again. hunters go down easy at close range when you got lots of armor....as for mages....just wait til they run out mana!

I find the only way u can kill apaladin is if you stop him casting....either thats take him mana or Counter Spell or silence...but after thats run out
shield goes up and he is full health again!

Ok good point Iwan but it is useless to use shield in PvP because of the 5 minute cooldown, I more than likely have used my shield up before I meet a mage or hunter in a battleground :x

Point noted but i end to stick close to a warroir or mage in bg...i heal them and they keep me alive...and for everyone 1 they kill i get double honour as i healed them in the fight....

A! Damn it. I don't know what to say.
I use to spend a lot time in reading various forums, for warrior/priest/mage/hunter/...well every class builds, pros and cons, items, pvp/pve tactics.
What I can say is - druids, like sammies, pallies are hybird. Now, they can do all the aspects of wow gaming, i.e. tanking, healing, spell casting. And if the guy playing behind know his stuff, well you can be put under the impression that "druids can tank better than warriors. shammies can outdps rogues and mages. pallies are immortal and in the meentime they can heal you like mother fuckers". Or vice verse. But if a warrior, prot build knows what he is doing noone can take mob off him. And in all instances you won't be needing to face more than 2-3 at the same time, because crowd controll is important just as much as tanking and healing .. if not more. That's why its very stupid to form a group with 3 palladins, 1 priest and a warrior. No point. No cc. Now if you take a hunter, rogue, mage, priest and lock, that's something else. No tank, but these guys can take 5 mobs off the game, meening they can generally fight only one mob at time. Its not recomended couse if shit hits it then noone will be able to pull that nasty mob off the priest and a wipe will come.
So there is no such thing as "perfect class" imo, only thing is what gives you the kick, what you like most. I prefer being in the heat of the fight, thus making second warrior (first one got 60lvl, but was in other server and undead). I made a priest, 51 (goes by the name of Sender in Society), and what I liked him the most for was he can ... on 1v1 he melts everything. Like there is not perfect race for specific class, its just your own taste.

Some valide points there mate...its all about the mix in a group which defines charaters.

I love playing a mage but as a priest now i find that i can really heat up the damage even on holy spec but also be a top noch healer which is my role.
The paladin comes into its own at low lvls and then at really high lvls like 70 as its a good healer at low lvls and at higher lvls it is a good healer but inbetween priests are some what better at healing.


By the way mate you about tonight with shark? I am lvl 39 and near 40...thought a good uldaman run be cool...I also need to start questing again soon because i think instnaces are running thin now.

My personal favourite class has to be the rogue.

Nothing can beat their fast gameplay or assassinating some unsuspecting horde with a well-timed stunlock :P
