SWTOR - F2P?

Rumors are starting about SWTOR going F2P. Sounds like they have started free server transfers and are looking at closing several servers that are low pop. Which makes sense. But F2P? That seems like a bold move.

i have taken advantage of the free transfers, the server i moved too is on very heavy most of the time now. it is very nice, because i can easily find a group or get into a pvp queue. i doubt that it will be going f2p anytime soon, though.

Wouldnt surprise me at all from 200 servers to 30 possibly as low as 18 , real shame how badly the screwed this up .. and it has no chance of recovery , and honestly it cant be fixed , it is broken at its core and is a terrible attempt at an MMO ...

SWG is a was a better representive of the SW universe in every conceivable way ...

sigh ......... a real shame i wanted this game to succeed....

And they will 100% at least impplemnet a F2P exteneded triel to say lvl 20 ( like Rift) , just so they can show the shareholders that x # of logins this 1/4 shows growth .... but these tranparent attempts of mystery accounts that EA/BW has cantrived wont sit well with the big investors by 3rd quarter ... The rumbles will be loud and costly...
