So who was playing this one?
I'm still on the fence. I've heard it's pretty good from what people at work are saying about the beta.
Not groundbreaking, but a must have for a star wars fan is the general consensus.

And one more thing while I'm on the star wars subject, this is amusing.

I am holding off. Going to wait and see how people like it after the first month. I just get the feeling it is going to be another 1 to 3 month run and then done. Like the idea of voice acting for quests but think that may get boring after a while. Talent trees are nothing new. And I can picture Jedi everywhere.

With EQ2 and the holidays this month I am definitely going to be waiting on this. And curious to see how everyone likes it. I cannot get myself super excited about it for some reason. I get the feeling it is the super hype around SWToR that is making the little fellow on my should whisper in my ear, "Give it time, it is never going to live up to the hype. 30 days and people will be leaving." We shall see. Look forward to reports from in game.

seems rather meh to me just a single player mmo in the tradition of wow with a star wars skin.. meh.

Folks I have talked to that have played the beta have said that is a very cool experience, even if you just play it as a single player game. Granted I'm not sure how far they got into it and I don't know if all the shine and awesome would translate into the long haul experience of an MMO.
I'm still on the fence; I have been on a star wars reading kick lately so I kind of want to extend that, but I'm unsure.
As far as I can tell I still have a damn lot to do in Skyrim so may just be happy with that for the time being.

Anyone playing? I am assuming the lack of peeps in EQ2 means someone got early access. Thoughts? From what I am reading everyone is loving it. Then again it is first days of SWToR so I expect everything to be rosy. The key will be after a month if everyone still loves it.

I was testing and preoredered, like i said in this post...

Im not going anywhere from EQ tho .. i have my station pass and that doesnt chnage... ToR is occupying my time for now...

If you like SW and have enjoyed Biowares games .. you will like ToR ... Spid you would probly like it , it is very solo friendly and the grouping is there if you want it .. Crafting is well done .. the combat is fun .... I will play this to endgame to try out there open world RvR ... along with playing Eq2...

I think if I do anything with SWToR it will be after Christmas. Too busy plus I can only imagine the queues that are going to happen over the holidays when it goes live. And I am still not confident that it is anything more than a 30 day bust and on to the next game.
